New Convertible Collection Styles by Hair Cuttery!

Hi, I’m Ali Hoffberg, Artistic Leader at Hair Cuttery. I lead the creation and launch of a new Design Collection Class that will empower our Hair Cuttery stylists to give our clients a new, trendy and modern look that is quick and easy to style.

At Hair Cuttery, we always offer our stylists ongoing continuing education to keep them and the looks they offer fresh! In this exciting new “Convertible Collection” we offer four new looks.  What’s great about these styles is that they are all versatile, and customizable to multiple desired lengths, textures, and finishes!

• Let’s start with a short undercut for women that so many hair vixens are wearing this season. This look is the reinvention of the hugely trending men’s pompadour of the 50s, but for ladies. Think clean, short in the back and sides and longer locks through the top and crown. It takes only 10 minutes to style from wet to dry and can be worn back and away for a classic look or sleek and swept off the face for a little more drama.  Finish the look with Redken Triple Take 32 High Hold finishing spray.

• We also have a long pixie bob that is a modern, simple and sharp look. It is shorter underneath but the length on top hides that until you choose to show it off. Wear it with natural curl or round brush it to express your professional and fashionable style. The edgy side comes out when you add some volume and texture building products (Redken’s Mess around 05 or Shape Factor 22) through the top, and really show off the underneath’s disconnected, razor texture style. It’s fun, fresh and exciting in so many versatile ways.

• Next, we have a trendy undercut for men. This look is clean and crisp underneath with a distinct change in length on top. It is effortless to style and is perfect for the jack of all trades. Wear it with pomade and combed to the side for a clean and professional finish for work, or go with rough styling using a paste or grooming cream for easy going weekend style. Add extra detail with a defined partline. • Our most popular design from this convertible collection is our Classic Bob. This hair cut has several disconnected internal layers that are easy to style and maintain and keep the look of length throughout while adding movement with longer texture around the face. Add a deep conditioner like Redken Extreme and some champagne blonde highlights with a Redken Shades EQ Glaze for added shine and an overall healthy hair look!
